BIFNIM ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the BIFNIM mobile application and related services (the "Service").

We comply with applicable data protection regulations, including the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Israeli Privacy Protection Law.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account Information: Email address, display name, and authentication credentials when you create an account.
• Project Data: Floor plans, room layouts, measurements, design elements, materials, and other project content you create within the app.
• Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for troubleshooting and compatibility purposes.
• Device Recognition Signals: To keep the Service secure and prevent repeated abuse of free trials, we use a randomly generated device identifier, an essential signed browser cookie, and a one-way hash of general device characteristics (such as screen size, time zone, language settings and graphics hardware). These signals contain no personal content, are stored only as hashes or opaque tokens, and are used solely for security and fraud prevention — never for advertising or cross-site tracking.
• Camera and Photos: Images you capture or import through the app for use in your design projects. These are processed and stored only as part of your project data.
• Usage Data: General usage patterns to help us improve the app experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To store and synchronize your design projects across devices.
• To process AI-powered design suggestions and renderings using third-party AI services (e.g., Google Gemini). Images sent for AI processing are not stored by the AI provider beyond the request.
• To communicate with you about service updates and important notices.
• To ensure the security and integrity of the Service.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS/HTTPS) and secure database access controls to protect your information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Gemini AI: For AI-powered design suggestions and image processing. Data sent to the AI is processed in real-time and is not retained by the provider.
• Expo / React Native: For app delivery and updates.

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

6. Your Rights

You have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Access: Request a copy of your personal data.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Deletion: Request deletion of your data and account.
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format.
• Objection: Object to certain types of data processing.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

9. Cookies

The mobile application uses only essential cookies and local storage necessary for authentication and app functionality. This includes a long-lived signed device-recognition cookie that contains only an opaque random identifier and is used solely to prevent repeated abuse of free trials. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes through the app or by email.

11. Crash Reporting & Diagnostics

To diagnose stability issues we collect technical telemetry when the app encounters an unhandled error. This includes the error message and stack trace, the platform (iOS / Android / Web), the app version, and — if you are signed in — your user ID. We do not collect the contents of your projects, drawings, photos, or any free-text you type. Telemetry is retained for up to 30 days and then automatically deleted.

12. Account Deletion

You can delete your account directly from inside the app at any time. Open Profile → Delete Account. The action requires a two-step confirmation. When you confirm, we immediately delete:

• Your account record and login credentials.
• All projects you own (drawings, layouts, render parameters).
• All exports you have generated (PDF, GLB, USDZ, image files).
• Your favorites, saved tips, AI render history and quota counters.
• Your AI design-assistant conversations and suggestions.
• Your pricebook overrides and permissions.
• Any pending password-reset tokens for your email.

Backups containing this data are purged within 30 days. If you cannot access the in-app option, email us at the address below and we will delete your account within 30 days.
